Safeguarding at Iqra Academy
At Iqra Academy, safeguarding is our top priority. Safeguarding means protecting children from harm, ensuring their well-being, and creating a secure environment where they can learn and thrive. This includes safeguarding students from abuse, neglect, bullying, discrimination, and any form of harm, both online and offline. We are committed to promoting the welfare of all our students, ensuring they feel safe, valued, and respected at all times.
To provide a safe and supportive environment, we have clear policies and procedures in place, including a dedicated safeguarding team that students can turn to for help and support. All staff receive regular safeguarding training to recognize and respond to any concerns. We work closely with parents, carers, and external agencies to ensure the best possible care for our students. Our school promotes an open and inclusive culture where students feel comfortable speaking up and seeking help. By fostering a strong sense of community and well-being, we ensure that every child at Iqra Academy has the opportunity to succeed in a safe and nurturing environment.
